Framework


  • Course duration : One year with two semesters - 6 months each
  • Semester 1 : Hands-on- training in sample preparation, operation of instruments, and data interpretation
  • Semester 2 : Industry Internship
  • Eligibility


    • Master’s degree from a recognized university in Life sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or any other Life science related courses with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
    • Minimum of 50% in BE/B.Tech – Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bachelor of Pharmacy, agriculture, Veterinary science or four year degree course in Life Sciences
    • Minimum marks for students belonging to SC/ST category shall be 40% in the qualifying degree examination
    • Candidates under BiSEP programme, shall be selected based on merit in the entrance test conducted by KBITS, Deptartment of IT, BT and S&T Govt. of Karnataka.
    • Selection of other candidates shall be based vacant seats and will be selected on the basis of merit in the entrance test conducted by Yenepoya University.
    • Maximum intake is 20 per year
